Principal Archaeologist/Project Manager

As Principal Archaeologist, you will:
- Be part of a dynamic team providing a full range of archaeological services for diverse projects.
- Manage and oversee archeological surveys, excavations, and monitoring.
- Mentor archaeologists and review their work products.
- Prepare work plans, research designs, complex technical reports, and impact assessments.
- Conduct client coordination, project management, and business development.
As Principal Archaeologist, you are:
- An expert in the analysis and documentation of complex archaeological data.
- A team leader experienced in supervising and mentoring archaeologists.
- Familiar with federal and state cultural resources regulations.
- Happy being on the road at times– visiting job sites, meeting with potential customers.
As Principal Archaeologist, you have:
- Master’s Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cultural resources management in California.
- Proven skills as a Project Manager/Principal Investigator.

- Base Salary of $90,000 - $120,000, plus incentive bonuses
