Field Archaeologist (Temp)

ECORP has an immediate need for field archaeologists to participate in a survey for a project in Fresno before the end of February 2025.

Responsibilities include pedestrian survey, site mapping and recording, and other duties as assigned. The fieldwork is expected to last 2 to 3 days.

Preference is given to applicants that live in the Fresno area.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology or other closely related field, successful completion of an archaeological field school or field methods course at an accredited university in the United States, and at least 6 months of full-time professional experience.

Wages are based on level of education, relevant experience, and quality of references. The wage for this specific project is $30 to $40/hour.

This is a temporary non-benefited position.
