Locations: Any Æ office or remote (*must be available to work on project sites)

Applied EarthWorks, Inc. has immediate openings for Historical Archaeologists. On-demand or full-time positions are available at the Associate and Senior levels. Ongoing projects are located throughout central and southern California.

Pay Range: $29 - $44/hour

Duties:

Historical Archaeologists have an interest in 19th and 20th century archaeological research issues and material culture. As part of the Historical Archaeology Program, they perform or assist in development and implementation of project research designs and treatment plans; supervise field and laboratory staff; author technical reports; maintain project schedules and budgets; and contribute to proposal preparation.
