From managing one of the state’s most significant artifact collections to facilitating repatriation efforts, you’ll be at the heart of cultural resource stewardship in California. 🌎✨

As the Associate State Archaeologist, you'll work at the State Archaeological Collections Research Facility (SACRF) in McClellan, supporting 280 park units across 21 districts. You'll help secure, organize, and interpret archaeological collections while collaborating with Tribes, researchers, and park staff to honor and protect our shared heritage. 🏛️
