What You’ll Do:

  • Business Development: Drive growth by cultivating new and existing client relationships in Cultural Resources and Archaeology sectors.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Inspire and develop a talented team of Senior Archaeologists, Cultural Resources specialists and technical staff.
  • Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, financial performance, and marketing initiatives.
  • Project Management: Oversee large-scale cultural resources projects and on-call contracts with precision and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For in our Cultural Resources Group Manager:

  • Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, History, or related field
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA)
  • 15+ years in Cultural Resources consulting that includes preparation of proposals and archaeological studies/reports and experience with agency consultation/coordination
  • A successful track record in business development in California, with proven sales generation and client relationships
  • Knowledge of the federal and California laws and regulations pertaining to historic and archaeological resource management and an understanding of regulatory agency programs, procedures, and policies related to cultural resource management, including CEQA, NEPA, and NHPA (Section 106)
  • Experience with Northern California prehistoric and historic archaeology
  • Experience preparing Class/Phase I, II, and III archaeological surveys, analyses, and documentation requirements
  • Experience coordinating with local Tribal representatives, resulting in positive Tribal relationships
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills

Compensation:
Competitive salary $140,000–$170,000, plus bonuses, ESOP participation, 401(k) with employer contributions, and comprehensive benefits.
