ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONITORS/SURVEYORS

Evans & De Shazo, Inc. (EDS) is seeking ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONITORS/SURVEYORS to work on various CRM projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The ARCHAEOLOGIST would assist principal and senior archaeologists with field survey work, construction monitoring, excavation, site recording, and other similar tasks, and be responsible for identifying and documenting cultural resources, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating with construction crews and tribal monitors, as needed. The position may involve working with diverse teams comprised of archaeologists, construction crews, Native American monitors, and agency personnel. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum of a B.A. in Anthropology or Archaeology, and a minimum of one year of full-time field experience conducting cultural resources field surveys and archaeological monitoring.

EDS offers a competitive hourly wage, mileage, and drive time reimbursement, when applicable, and a friendly work environment. The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $28.00-$38.00/hour, depending on education and experience. This is a seasonal/temporary position with an opportunity for full-time employment.
