Under general direction, to research, coordinate, implement, and evaluate park programs, special events, outreach activities, and day-to-day operations.
This position is located in the Park and Recreation Department and is responsible for coordinating and implementing the goals and mission of the Department’s Cultural Resources Program. The Cultural Resources Program preserves, rehabilitates, records, reports on, and educates staff and the public about the varied archaeological and historical built resources and historical collections stewarded by the Department, while effectively engaging with communities historically affiliated with the cultural resources stewarded by the department – particularly Native American Tribes.
